Gilad Barabi, an accomplished Israeli Composer, arranger, and pianist, possesses a dynamic musicality that transcends genres and captivates audiences worldwide. Born in 1997 in Hod Hasharon, Gilad's musical journey began at the tender age of four under the tutelage of his father. His early success with the piano paved the way for formal studies in classical music with Dr. Daria Monstirsky and jazz fusion with Tal Babitsky.

An autodidact, Gilad delved into the realms of composition, production, and an array of styles, including rock, blues, and funk. His innate talent and dedication earned him recognition as a rising star in the Israeli and global music scenes. In 2012, he embarked on a journey into Jazz at the Thelma Yellin School of Arts, showcasing exceptional arrangement skills and a multi-stylistic musical persona.

In 2015, Gilad joined the Air Force Band, serving as a pianist and arranger, where he honed his craft through extensive performances and arrangements in popular music. Post-military service, he pursued advanced studies in composition and orchestration under the mentorship of Rafi Kadishson, refining his writing abilities and creating a diverse portfolio of compositions. Notably, his string quartet was performed and recorded by the esteemed Carmel Quartet.

During this period, Gilad collaborated with various artists as a pianist, arranger, and producer, contributing to soundtracks for international student films. Simultaneously, he assumed the role of lead singer and producer in his disco band "Jaklin," achieving considerable success in the vibrant Tel Aviv nightlife scene.

In 2021, Gilad's pursuit of excellence led him to the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, where he was accepted into the multidisciplinary composition department. Currently, he is expanding his horizons as he completes his master's degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London, showcasing his commitment to continuous growth and artistic exploration.
